At Home in the World
a collection of landscapes about finding yourself in something bigger
At Home in the World
Walking outside, not anywhere too special— a park, a path, a place new or not— there can be a moment of recognition. Suddenly, everything is fresh and familiar all at once. You’re welcome there. You’re at home.
Maybe you catch your shadow on the path ahead of you. For a moment you know exactly where you’re going. Maybe you see an arch in the leaves, or a pleasing pattern in the grass. There’s always something to notice.
These drawings are about that feeling of finding yourself outside of yourself. They hope to capture those moments when you sense there’s something bigger— and you’re a part of it.
